Social Media & Content Manager
.

The social media & content manager will be reporting into the Marketing Director and will need to work alongside, web designers, web developers, graphic designers, to develop creative content for existing and new brands within the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Management and development of activity on multiple social media channels with the aim of driving engagement, building audience, increasing web traffic, and ultimately driving website registrations.
  • Assist in managing the organisation’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing creative content, analysing usage data, and managing projects and campaigns.
  • responsible for creating,improving, and maintaining content with the goal of achieving business goals. Duties will also include raising brand awareness by sharing content and monitoring web traffic and metrics with the interest of maintaining best practices.
  • Must excel at planning and time management. Every piece of content must be ready, proofed, and edited in time for approval from the Marketing Director to meet the schedule.
  • Creative content creation and outsidethe box thinking, this will be important for creating organic and creative content for different Social Media platforms. 
  • Manage day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and report on the results of each content marketing initiative.
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns in both Arabic and English.
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts for different brands. Assuring those posts are eye-appealing for the audience. Designing and styling products for the product shoots for the Social Media platforms.
  • Run social media channels for multiple brands within the group (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook) to enhance audience engagement.
  • Assist in organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions for the group.
  • Assist in evaluating and reviewing marketing campaigns, advertising, and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective.
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • Setting KPIs for Social Media Campaign, such as a target for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring the performance of a campaign against the KPI’s.
  • Community management for Social Media Platforms.
  • Assist in researching Social Media trends that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities and informing management.
  • Assist in preparing influencer brief with Marketing Director for Talents.
  • Assist in reaching out to talents for marketing activities and promotions. Coordinating with different influencers for collaborations for the brands.
  • Being able to manage time properly as for she/he will be managing multiple platforms for different brands within the group.
  • Preparing articles and press releases for the existing and new brands.
  • Assisting in creating marketing collaterals for the new brands launching within the company. This will include creating new brand identity and presentation kits.
  • Proofreading and translating websites for the company in Arabic.

Skills required for the role:

  • Photoshop, Canva and design skills is an advantage.
  • Strong in digital marketing and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience in the cosmetics or fashion industry is a plus.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both Arabic and English is a must.
  • Pro-active, good organizational& planning skills, and has the ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Microsoft office proficiency
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is a plus

Job Description

A web developer works alongside project managers and designers to create website layouts and user interfaces, by using standard HTML or CSS practices. They will be responsible for testing and maintaining the applications and websites they create, and for the documentation which relates to it. Required a strong middleweight developer who wants to extend his/her skill set, or a senior developer in a small team who has loads of great ideas that  you want to unleash, this is a hands-on role requiring a true all-rounder. Proven experience in E-commerce platforms is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
  • Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
  • Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
  • Directing or performing Website updates.
  • Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
  • Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
  • Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
  • Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
  • Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Determining user needs by analysing technical requirements.

Skills required for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web development or related field or relevant experience.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
  • Proficient in Word Press, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Style sheets.
  • Proficient in My SQL.
